Asawo Kurikoma (栗駒 あさを, Kurikoma Asao) is a character in Bakuten!!. She is from Miyagi where she attends Ao High School as a second year student. She is also manager of the school’s Rhythmic Gymnastics Club.
Biography[]
Asawo always seems to have the same facial expression, making her tough to read. She puts her technical prowess to work to do things like use 3D models on her tablet to better explain how to pull off gymnastic moves to the team.
Appearance[]
Asawo has neck-length maroon hair that has bangs swept to the left side and blue eyes.
Her school uniform consists of a light grey blazer over a white button up shirt and dark grey sweater vest, a navy blue skirt with a small red stripe at the rim, white socks and brown loafers.
While helping the Rhythmic Gymnastics Club, she wears a turquoise and white track jacket, blue shorts, white socks, and turquoise and white tennis shoes. She is also almost always seen with her signature pink tablet as well.
Personality[]
Asawo tends to be very reserved and calm, rarely ever speaking or making any expression. However, she seems to be incredibly intelligent as she has a vast knowledge of the gymnastics sport.
Etymology[]
- Asawo's surname Kurikoma means "chestnut" (栗) (kuri) and "piece, pony/horse/colt" (駒) (koma).
