Born in the Nagano prefecture, Kyoichi is the heir to a 300-year-old inn. He has been well trained in flower arrangement, tea ceremony, and calligraphy since he was a child.
He was a gymnast until junior high school, and excels at rhythmic gymnastics, using his flexibility to his advantage. He was scouted and entered Shiro High School. Surprisingly, he was not a regular in his first year.
Kyoichi has long, pitch black hair. It is styled with long bangs that almost cover his eyes, which are a very dark blue.
He wears his purple and white tracksuit zipped up all the way to the collar. His practice attire consists of a sports shirt with a red line running diagonal between the collar and the sleeve on either side, and leggings that fall a little below his knees.
Kyoichi is very collected and lax by nature, and is therefore quite soft-spoken. He expresses excitement and enthusiasm calmly.
In spite of this, he isn't distant or far removed. If anything, he's quite talkative when it comes to gymnastics and flower arrangements.
- The name Kyoichi consists of the kanji used for "modest" (恭) (kyo) and "one" (一) (ichi).
- His surname, Ryugamori, means "dragon" (竜) (ryu), "field of..." (ヶ) (ga) and "forest" (森) (mori). It can also be interpreted as "Dragon Forest Field"
