Masamune Shichigahama (七ヶ浜政宗, Shichigahama Masamune) is a character in Bakuten!!. Nagayoshi was born in Miyagi and is the captain of the Ao High School boys' rhythmic gymnastics team. He is currently in his third year of high school.

He is a childhood friend of Keisuke and Nagayoshi.

Personality
Masamune is a passionate and enthusiastic captain. He is shown as being incredibly proactive in leading the rhythmic gymnastics club and its members.
Though he has a burning love for gymnastics, he has no knack for teaching it, and his teaching methods involve vague descriptions of gymnastics moves and sounds associated to them.
He dislikes when his club is undermined, evident when he becomes angered whenever Nagayoshi makes underhanded comments about their club or school.
Etymology
- The name Masamune consists of the kanji used for “correct, right” (政) (masa) and “pillar” (宗) (mune). Altogether, it can be interpreted as “the strength of the team,” tying into his personality and role as captain
- His surname, Shichigahama means “seven” (七) (shichi) and “beach” (浜) (hama).
Trivia
- His family runs a long-established sasa kamaboko shop, a dish speciality of the Miyagi prefecture. It consists of bamboo leaves (笹) (sasa) and a white-fleshed fish cake (蒲鉾/かまぼこ) (kamaboko).
