Nagayoshi Onagawa (女川 ながよし, Onagawa Nagayoshi) is a character in Bakuten!!. He is a member of the Ao High School boys' rhythmic gymnastics team who is currently in his third year of high school and a childhood friend of Masamune Shichigahama and Keisuke Tsukidate.
Biography[]
Nagayoshi first joined the men's rhythmic gymnastics club with Keisuke Tsukidate after witnessing Masamune Shichigahama participate in the sport himself. He was previously the team's ace, before Ryoya Misato joined the team, and he excels in balance and — particularly — flexibility.
Appearance[]
Nagayoshi used to have short, brown hair that was slicked back when he first joined the club. He now has shoulder-length, bleached-blond hair with pink streaks that is often tied in a half-ponytail or a side-ponytail and is styled with uneven bangs at the front. His eyes are a brown color.
He normally sports a partially zipped-up, blue and white tracksuit outside the clubroom or the gym. He wears a plain, pink t-shirt with dark blue and green shorts atop a pair of leggings on the mat. His casual clothing adheres to street fashion.
Personality[]
Nagayoshi is bubbly and energetic, the club's mood-maker. He loves teasing his teammates and constantly gives them odd nicknames.
He likes cute girls and female idols, and has shown mild skirt-chasing tendencies.
Despite his happy-go-lucky personality, he takes gymnastics very seriously and he always pays attention to the discussions during practice or at the dorms.

Etymology[]
- The name Nagayoshi consists of the hiragana for “eternity” (なが) (naga) and “joy, good, reed” (よし) (yoshi).
- Nagayoshi's surname Onagawa means “woman, girl, daughter” (女) (ona) and “river, stream” (川) (kawa/gawa), which could be in reference to how he looks like a girl.
