Shusaku Shida (志田周作, Shida Shūsaku) is a character in Bakuten!!. He is the coach of the Ao High School boys' rhythmic gymnastics team.
Biography[]
Shusaku is married, but there are many mysteries about him, such as the fact that no one other than himself and Asawo Kurikoma have ever seen who his wife, Rei Shida, really is.
Appearance[]
Shusaku has mid-length light ash blonde hair and lavender eyes.
As his casual outfit, he wears a white dress shirt with an iris-purple cardigan over the shirt. He wears a pair of black formal pants held up by a brown belt with a silver buckle as well as a pair of brown formal shoes.
As for his tracksuit, he wears a grey tracksuit jacket that has a black front. He also wears grey tracksuit trousers and matching sneakers.
Personality[]
Shusaku can be best described a cheery and kind gentleman who can also be described as altruistic as he truly wants the members of the club to enjoy rhythmic gymnastics.
He also seems to cherish his wife’s words to him as he quoted them to Masamune Shichigahama when he was talking about his team.
Etymology[]
- The name Shusaku means "excellent, circumference, circuit, lap, surroundings, circuit, vicinity" (周) (shu) and "make, production, prepare, build, written, work, cultivation, tillage" (作) (saku)
- Shusaku’s surname Shida means "will, purpose plan, motive, hopes" (志) (shi) and "field, rice paddy" (田) (ta/da).
